Be Ready for Google’s Panda 4.0
Last week, Google’s Matt Cutts has officially announced that the search engine giant will be releasing a fourth version of their “Panda” algorithm. Google’s Panda algorithm was created to stop the rampant climb of websites with poor content to Google’s top searches. This trickles down to different aspects, like the use of keywords, as well as the use of actual keywords in the content. Gone are the days when website owners could just post short content with simple photos. Nowadays, creating a blog post or landing page will take more consideration and careful attention.
But there’s a beauty to this somewhat disarming algorithm both now and before. The beauty lies in the fact that websites are now required to come up with blog content and posts that are actually compelling. Create content where people can learn something new. This type of content is not only worth of people’s time, but will encourage them to share your content in social media. So in a way, this algorithm change works out OK for everybody, regardless if they are working for the real estate industry or for any other industry.
Even better is the fact that the latest Google Panda algorithm, aka Google Panda 4.0, is more lenient towards content creators and real estate marketers alike. Cutts has gone on record that the new algorithm that they will be enabling soon will impact at least 7.5% of search queries for the English language. The new version of Panda will also differ from language to language. This means that the restrictions and penalties will differ for English and for Spanish.
All in all, if you just keep writing good content for your blog, adding appropriate keywords in your content and sharing this content in your social media, you should be able to stand strong through any Google algorithm changes in the future.
