5 Great Ways for Internet Marketers to Get Noticed

Real estate marketing might seem easy, but it can be tough to others if you’re new to the industry or haven’t successfully mastered it’s reigns yet. While marketing through the use of blogs and social media is not rocket science, it’s no walk in the park either, especially with so many competitors lurking around.

The challenge in social media is to be able to get your audience’s attention and make them follow through on your offers. This is the reason why it is imperative that you fine-tune your social media materials to such an extent that it will be ready for anything that might hinder people from listening to you. Here are five great ways to be heard by your target audience.

The Spirit of Competition

Regardless of your industry, you can always expect to have competitors. In one area there could be a maximum of 10 real estate agents and brokers. If you’re new, you might not be seen easily, but don’t be afraid to go the distance with the competition. Engage with your prospects and target audience whenever you can. Focus on your positive abilities and highlight these skills in your marketing. A great way to show others how personable you are is by creating videos and setting up a YouTube channel so that your target market can get a feel for what it may be like to work with you.

Keep Things in the Loop

Whenever you post something new on any of your social media pages, including new properties for sale, it’s a good idea to put in a short linked URL to lead prospects to a specific landing page with more details. Linking helps to continually drive traffic to your site, which is beneficial in the long run. For link shorteners, you can use services like bit.ly or Google’s goo.gl.

Go for Visual

If you really want to be noticed in a sea of photos and videos on websites like Facebook, you need to start thinking of sharing photos too. Gather the best photos of your listings and provide inspiration for those surfing within the social media platforms. When not promoting real estate properties, share something that your followers might enjoy looking at or will give them something to smile about.

Tag

Another solid approach to stand out and get noticed is to tag. Facebook and Twitter can easily tag accounts. Just be sure not to overdo it and more importantly choose the right people to tag. Don’t go tagging people who are not interested in buying homes or You can also use hashtags in your posts. Choose keywords relating to what you’re posting by using this mark “#” before the word Ideas include hashtags like: #homeforsale or tagging your neighborhood or city, like: #LosAngeles. Just like regular people tagging, don’t over do it by hash tagging too much.
