Agent Image Websites Secure Against Heartbleed Bug
On April 7, 2014, researchers disclosed a vulnerability in a technology called OpenSSL that powers encryption across much of the internet. The vulnerability is commonly known as the "OpenSSL Heartbleed Flaw" that can be used to capture protected data.
Our team took immediate action to analyze Agent Image's infrastructure against this flaw. We want to assure you that Agent Image's servers have not been affected by the Heartbleed OpenSSL security vulnerability that has been widely reported in the news media. The usernames and passwords for Agent Image websites have not been compromised and your websites are secure.
For clients using iHomefinder IDX - The usernames and passwords for iHomefinder Partner Portal accounts, client Control Panels, and Property Organizers have not been compromised. Their ColdFusion servers run on Windows, which have not been affected. Their Java servers run on Linux, and they are using an older version of OpenSSL that has not been affected. As a precaution, they have patched OpenSSL on that server and re-keyed the security certificates.
For clients using IDXBroker - Their representative has assured us that IDXBroker users are secure. IDXBroker uses an older version of OpenSSL that has not been affected.
Agent Image, iHomefinder and IDXBroker's web servers are using an OpenSSL version that is NOT vulnerable to HeartBleed.
We encourage you to follow strong security practices with all your online accounts, such as using different passwords that are long and difficult to guess for each online account.
