Make Your Website SEO Worthy with These Minor Refinements

By Agent Image / Updated April 03, 2017 / Published June 04, 2014 / 3 min read

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is one of the key factors that will turn the tide of real estate marketing towards your side. It’s a complicated process which you may want to leave to the experts but there are a few things that you can do and accomplish on your own which can deliver small victories for you and your campaign. The following are some of the things you can modify towards your website’s content to make it friendly to search engines and search engine optimization.

Make Entitled Titles for Posts

Entitled might be a little too much but you might want to make your titles special. Make them too generic and you’ll probably only get a handful of visitors. A well-thought off title will not only drive in traffic by catching audiences’ attention. There is also a possibility that your article gets bumped higher by the search engines with the new algorithms that are being followed such as that of Google’s Hummingbird policy.

Take Note of the Title’s Elements

SEO-wise it would be a good idea to have the actual title come first before the website’s name. This will make it easy for trackers and crawlers to get on with the crawl as opposed to having the system figure out that the title is a default and that it needs to move further to get to the title. Making the title first will also help in avoiding unnecessary reading, as well as end confusion.

Consider Keyword Density

Keywords are the words you want search engines to associate with your article. Posting about your pet cat Sparkles and how you care for her? Use the keywords, “cat care”. The problem here is overstuffing posts with the same keyword. It’s a big no-no to cram keywords on a post. This is where keyword density comes in. It’s basically the measurement of keywords used in the article. It follows a highly complicated and ever-changing formula which will balance the ratio between the actual keyword and the word count per article.
