New Trends to Look Out for in 2014
With 2014 approaching, we take the time to examine some of the trends that people are using and how they can potentially rack up your real estate marketing campaigns. Bear in mind though that some of these new software and services still do not have an active adult market, but they are showing success and leverage in the Generation Y markets. And while that might be the case, it’s still a great idea to invest a few hours to understand how the social media avenue can work for you; you may never know when a good idea might hit you.
- Mobile photo-sharing apps – The mobile age has officially begun and people are now finding more and more for themselves looking at their smartphones rather than their laptops. This is why there are now a lot of apps that deliver messaging and photo-sharing like Line and KakaoTalk (both of which have seen steady increase in usage outside of the United States).
- Erasable Media – the age of erasable social media is also growing leaps and bounds. Sites and applications such as Snapchat now makes it possible for people to talk and share private photos with each other without having to worry about their conversations and photos going public. Still worth a shot.
- Non-Facebook Social media – 2013 has proven that there is life outside Facebook. People are starting to flock and gather on other apps and social media like Instagram and Vine; even Justin Bieber is joining on the bandwagon by funding a teen-oriented site, “Shots of Me”.
