Pre-Breakfast Social Media Practices for Champions

By Agent Image / Updated July 14, 2016 / Published January 29, 2014 / 2 min read

It's already been established that social media can make or break a business especially in the case of real estate marketing. You can get ahead of the curve and not get dragged down when you start adapting these simple practices before you take your first bite of the day. The good thing about this is that they won't even consume too much of your time; you could actually finish this in minutes. Even less.

  • Facebook – log in to your Facebook account to check on new notifications and messages as well as send quick greetings to birthday celebrants. Once you've grown used to this, you can get a good idea of the day's trending topics.
  • Emails – next up, go through your emails. We highly recommend using tags for your emails. By doing this, you can easily sift through them knowing which need your immediate attention and which can go to your archives and be dealt with at a later time. Checking for updates on existing campaign or projects would be a breeze!
  • Twitter – finally you need to login to your or your company's Twitter account. Once there, check for new mentions as well as look at new followers who have followed you. You also need to check up on users who have unfollowed you on Twitter and lastly, you need to look at what's trending or what's the hottest topic in the stream.

By following these social media practices, you will likely see a sudden growth in activity and even increased sales. However, the important thing here is establishing discipline and order when it comes to dealing with the demands of social media.
